1234yf Systems

Ten of the OEM groups currently produce more than 90% of their vehicles sold in the US using R-1234yf. These OEMs include: BMW, FCA, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, JLR, Subaru, Tesla, and Volkswagen Group. Toyota is approximately 75%, Mitsubishi is approximately 50%, Nissan is approximately 25% and Volvo was added to the list of OEM’s converting vehicles to R-1234yf this year. Mazda and Daimler are the only two OEMs selling vehicles in the US not using R-1234yf in their vehicles.
